Steve Williams currently serves as an Assistant Pastor of Columbia Road Baptist Church (CRBC) in North Olmsted and General Director of Harvest Baptist Missions, a local church-based missionary sending agency ministry of CRBC.
In late 2007, Pastor Williams organized and conducted the first PureMen’s study group at CRBC. Realizing the challenges that men face today in a world that seems to be obsessed with sex, the PureMen class was designed to help men rise above the ever present barrage of seductive images and live lives that are characterized by moral purity and victorious Christian living. Seeing how this study tremendously helped the men of CRBC, Pastor Williams is now endeavoring to take the message of having a “Passion for Purity” to the men of Greater Cleveland who desire to live purely in an impure world.
Prior to his call to the ministry, Pastor Williams was employed by SBC/Ameritech Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio for 13 years. During that time, the Lord was preparing him for future service by giving him a broad range of managerial responsibilities in areas such as HR, customer service, sales, and project management.
Raised in Westerville, Ohio, Pastor Williams graduated from Capital University in Columbus with a degree in Business Administration. Following graduation, he moved to the Cleveland area and joined the Columbia Road Baptist Church. Over the past 20 years at the church, Pastor Williams has received his Bible training under the leadership of his pastor and the church's Bible Institute.
Pastor Williams resides in North Ridgeville with his wife Kris, and their three children.
